What is CrossFit?CrossFit is a precise combination of exercise and nutrition that has been proven to increase fitness and health for people of all ages and abilities. CrossFit is founded on the first scientifically rigorous definition of fitness: The program produces observable results that can be measured and replicated.

Is CrossFit for me?Yes. Everyone can do CrossFit regardless of age, injuries and current fitness levels. The program is modified for each person to help him or her safely become healthier and fitter. Grandparents and Olympians can perform modified versions of the same general workout.

Do I need to be in shape to start CrossFit?No. CrossFit is the program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start CrossFit. As you become fitter, workouts will become more challenging. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness and move you toward your goals.

Can kids do CrossFit?Yes. CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and teenagers and helps them develop a lifelong love of fitness. In a group setting, children and teens participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well rounded athletes. CrossFit Wallingford has the only certified CrossFit Kids program in Wallingford which reserves gym time for the exclusive use of our kids and teens.

What are our box rules?Sign up for class in advance Arrive on time (early is good too!) Introduce yourself to others in class Be coachable & don't coach others Check your ego at the door Don't drop empty barbells Only use your equipment Clean up after yourself Don't break down your equipment until everyone has finished the workout!
